Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that for the reliefs claimed for in the present writ application, the petitioner has already filed a representation before the District Magistrate, Gaya vide Annexure-6 to the writ application, which is still pending. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that he would be satisfied if an appropriate direction be

Patna High Court CWJC No.7096 of 2016(4) dt.01-08-2025 2/2 issued by this Court to the District Magistrate, Gaya to dispose of the representation of the petitioner on merit after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a fixed time frame by passing a reasoned and speaking order.

3. The aforesaid prayer being made by learned counsel for the petitioner is not opposed by the learned counsel appearing for the respondent-State.

4. Considering the limited nature of prayer being made by learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ application is disposed of directing the District Magistrate, Gaya to dispose of the pending representation of the petitioner vide Annexure-6 on merit after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, by passing a reasoned and speaking order. The entire exercise must be completed within six months from the date of production of a copy of this order by the petitioner.

5. With the aforesaid observation/direction, this writ application is disposed of. All pending interlocutory application(s), if any, shall also be deemed to have been disposed of.
