The petitioners seek bail in connection with Samastipur Mufassil P. S. Case No. 135 of 2019 registered under Sections 30(a), 32(2) and 41(1) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
Considering recovery of 1134 litres of prohibited foreign liquor from pick-up van in which the petitioners were found present, I am not inclined to grant them bail for the present even though they are in custody since 20.03.2019. The application for bail is rejected.
The trial court is directed to expedite the trial and
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No. 29759 of 2019(2) dt.22-05-2019 2/2 conclude the same as early as possible.
