The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "That this is an application for issuance of appropriate writs, orders and directions against the

Patna High Court CWJC No.13301 of 2021(2) dt.30-11-2023 2/3 respondents for commanding the respondent Authorities to appoint the petitioners on compassionate ground on class III post who has already been appointed on Class IV posts compassionate ground in Gandak Muzaffarpur due to demise of their fathers, namely Late Bijendra Prasad Singh and Late Jaishankar Prasad Verma respectively, who died prior to attaining the age of Superannuation and be further pleased to treat the services of the petitioners on Class III Post since their date of initial appointment/ joining and also entitle for current salary and other benefits permissible under the law and be further pleased to grant any other relief/ reliefs for which the petitioners are entitled to."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioners seeks not to press the writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioners to approach the respondentauthorities for redressal of their aforesaid grievance. Liberty, so sought, is granted.
