2. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:

"(i) For issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of Mandamus commanding and directing the respondent authority to pay the arrears of salary as well as current salary to the petitioner due since 13.03.2018 to till the date, and the amount of arrears of salary must be paid with statutory as well as penal interest.

(ii) Further for direction to the respondent authority to ensure compliance of order dated 30.12.2019 passed in Appeal No.08/2019 by the respondent District Appellate Authority Tribunal, Nalanda. (iii) Further issuance of any other writ/writs/

Patna High Court CWJC No.13279 of 2021(3) dt.27-08-2024 2/2 order/orders direction/directions for which petitioner shall be found entitled under the facts and circumstances of the case under the principle of equitable justice."

3. A counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the State, in paragraph 10 of which, it is stated that vide letter no. 3188 dated 27.08.2022 the D.P.O. (Establishment), Nalanda released fund amounting to Rs.9,65,314/- for payment of salary to the petitioner which has been duly transferred and paid in his Account No. 11347217226 on 27.08.2022.
