Petitioners apprehend their arrest in Complaint Case No.84C of 2001 for the offences allegedly committed by the petitioners under Sections 498A, 323, 379 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code.

It appears from bare perusal of the complaint petition itself that the complaint was filed in the year 2001 and prima facie case under Section 498A and other sections of the Indian Penal Code was found against the petitioners and others on 07.01.2002 but the petitioners evaded their appearance in the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.31971 of 2019(2) dt.14-05-2019 2/2 court below. Consequently processes under Sections 82 and 83 have already been exhausted. Petitioners filed this anticipatory bail petition only after 18 years from the date of institution of the case.

Considering the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioners on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is rejected. (Prabhat Kumar Jha, J) S.KUMAR/- U T
