2. The accused/petitioners apprehending their arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 5792 of 2024, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 494, 498(A)/38 of the IPC and Section 3⁄4 D.P. Act.

3. The allegation against above named petitioners is to

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.33222 of 2025(2) dt.21-05-2025 2/3 commit cruelty upon the informant/opposite party no. 2, namely, Sanju @ Khushabu alongwith other family members/co-accused persons due to non fulfillment of demand of dowry, as raised for cash of Rs. 25 lacs.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submitted that all petitioners are in-laws and facing general and omnibus allegation against alleged cruelty as said to be committed upon opposite party no. 2. It is submitted that the thrust of allegation is available against the husband of the informant, namely, Ritesh Kumar @ Vikky, who is also facing the allegation of bigamy. It is submitted that the demand of dowry as said to be raised for cash of Rs. 25 lacs also appears very much general and omnibus against petitioners. Petitioner no. 2 is a lady of clean antecedent, whereas petitioner nos. 1 and 3 found involved in one more criminal case, where they are on bail.

5. Learned APP opposed the prayer of bail.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances and by taking note of fact as the petitioners are in-laws, where thrust of allegation prima facie appears available against the husband, namely Ritesh Kumar @ Vikky, accordingly, all above named petitioners, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the learned trial Court, within a period of four weeks of the order,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.33222 of 2025(2) dt.21-05-2025 3/3 are directed to be released on bail furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned S.D.J.M., Patna/concerned Court, where the case is pending in connection with Complaint Case No. 5792 of 2024, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2)/of the Cr.P.C./482(2) of the BNSS.
