2. The present petition has been preferred for the following relief/s:
(i) for issuance of a writ in the nature of writ of mandamus directing the respondent authorities I.e. Circle Officer, Dehri to continue and grant the rent receipt in the name of petitioner and other co-sharers of Mauza- Khadaraon, thana no.116 of khata no. 123, plots no. 490, 271, 364, 365, 333, 687, 734, 119, 118, 116, 115, 114, 98, 514, 753, 422, 351, 684/798, 681/799, 686, 800,
Patna High Court CWJC No.6617 of 2015(3) dt.08-07-2025 2/3 683/797, 513, 277 total area 3 Acre 24 decimals;
(ii) for issuance of a writ in the nature of writ of mandamus directing the respondent no.5, to pass appropriate order on the representation dated 17.3.15 made before him by the petitioner;
(iii) for issuance of a writ in the nature of writ of mandamus directing the respondent no.5 I.e. Circle Officer, Dehri to comply the order dated 21.6.2013 passed by the learned Deputy Collector, Land Reforms, Dehri, Rohtas in Miscellaneous Case no.02/13-14 contained in annexure-5 and prepared Jamabanai on the basis of order passed in Title Suit no.298(D)/2013 in favour of the petitioner and others;
(iv) for issuance of any other writ(s) or order(s) or direction(s) which may be deemed fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case.
3. It has been informed by learned counsel for the
Patna High Court CWJC No.6617 of 2015(3) dt.08-07-2025 3/3 petitioner that sole petitioner is no more and as such heirs be granted liberty to approach the concerned authority afresh if they so want.
4. Granting liberty to the heirs of the sole petitioner to approach the concerned authority, if they so want, the writ petition is disposed of.
5. The contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the representation is pending before the Circle Officer, Dehri.
6. Needless to add that now the sole petitioner is no more, the heirs will have to prefer a fresh petition and the concerned authority is duty bound to take the same to its logical conclusion.
