The matter has been taken up through video conferencing.

The petitioner seeks bail in Sakra P.S. case No. 310/2020 registered u/s 30(A), 32(ii), 41 of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act.

The police on secret information raided the house of Shrawan Singh @ Anna and recovered huge quantity of liquor. Shrawan Singh disclosed that petitioner and Vicky Kumar purchased liquor from his house and they were carrying the same on motor cycle. The police chased and apprehended the petitioner and Vicky Kumar and 21.75 liters of liquor was recovered from the possession of the petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since 11.07.2020. Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.31432 of 2020(2) dt.01-12-2020 2/2 remained in jail for about five months.

Considering the facts aforesaid and the nature of allegation made against the petitioner, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be enlarged on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, Excise Act, Muzaffarpur in connection with Sakra P.S. case No. 310/2020.
