3. Learned counsel is permitted to implead District Provident Fund Officer, Gaya as respondent no. 6 during the course of the day.

4. The petitioner, who has retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation on 31.10.2016 while working as Lady Supervisor in the Department of Social

Patna High Court CWJC No. 736 of 2018 dt.03-04-2024 2/3 Welfare Department, has filed this writ petition for payment of post retirement benefits.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner, referring to the counter affidavit filed by the respondents, submitted that except the part payment of G.P.F. amount, all the retirement benefits of the petitioner have been paid by the respondent authorities. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that for remaining payment of G.P.F. amount, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 23.11.2022, to the newly added respondent no.6, namely the District Provident Officer, Gaya, and submits that this writ petition may be disposed of with a direction to respondent no.6, the District Provident Fund Officer, Gaya to examine the representation of the petitioner dated 23.11.2022, submitted for payment of remaining G.P.F. amount.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties, since all the retirement benefits of the petitioner have been paid by the respondent authorities, except the part G.P.F. amount, respondent no.6, the Provident Fund Officer, Gaya is directed to examine the representation of the petitioner dated 23.11.2022, submitted for payment of remaining G.P.F. amount, on its own merit within a period of two months from the date of

Patna High Court CWJC No. 736 of 2018 dt.03-04-2024 3/3 receipt/production of a copy of this order and if it is found that the petitioner is entitled to any further payment of G.P.F. amount, the same shall be paid within a period of four weeks thereafter.

7. With above observation, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
