The grievance of the petitioner is in limited bound to the extent that she has been deprived of the arrears of pension despite implementation of the Seventh Pay Revision, and when the said benefits have not been extended in her favour, she approached this Court by filing the present writ petition.

3. In pursuance of the order of this Court, a counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of respondent no. 6. It has

Patna High Court CWJC No.8076 of 2025(5) dt.06-07-2026 2/3 been stated therein that the petitioner is receiving pension regularly and an authority letter for revision of her pension has already been issued by respondent no. 8 vide letter dated 13.02.2026. It has further been stated that the petitioner was required to furnish certain particulars to the Bank to facilitate implementation of the revised pension. However, upon verification, it was ascertained that the petitioner's pension account is maintained with UCO Bank, Katoria Branch, District-Banka. Accordingly, respondent no. 6, vide letter dated 14.05.2026, forwarded the authority letter to the Branch Manager, UCO Bank, Katoria, with a request to ensure payment of the revised pension to the petitioner without any further delay. Copies of the aforesaid letters have been brought on record to support the aforesaid statement made in the counter affidavit.

4. Learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that since a copy of the counter affidavit has been served upon him just in a while, he requires instructions from his client.

5. Considering the submissions advanced by the learned Advocates for the respective parties and taking note of the specific stand taken in the counter affidavit filed on behalf of respondent no. 6 that the authority letter has already been

6. Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
