This application for anticipatory bail arises out of Deo P.S. Case No. 13 of 2019, disclosing offences punishable under Sections 414/413/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner's name has surfaced on the basis of confessional statement of two persons named in the First Information Report, namely, Sonu Kumar and Sanoj Kumar, in course of investigation, which is evident from the First Information Report.

It seems from what has been alleged in the First Information Report, that there is gang operating of persons involved in theft of motorvehicles.

In that view of the matter, I am not inclined to grant the petitioner privilege of anticipatory bail, since his custodial

The petitioner is directed to surrender before the Court below within four weeks from today and seek regular bail, if so advised. If he does so, his application for regular bail shall be considered on its own merit without being prejudiced by rejection of the present application for grant of anticipatory bail by this Court.
