1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned AC to AAG-5 for the State.

2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that petitioner has applied for grant of firearm license of N.P. Bore Pistol before the District Magistrate-cumCollector, Gaya which is pending consideration since 24.06.2024 as would manifest from Annexure-P/1 to the writ application.

3. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State submits that the writ application can be disposed of with a direction to the District Magistrate-cum-Collector, Gaya to

4. After hearing the learned counsel for the parties and without going into the merits of the case, the writ application is disposed of with a direction to the District Magistrate-cum-Collector, Gaya to consider and dispose of the application of the petitioner seeking arms license within a period of four months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
