====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 10-07-2026 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned A.P.P. for the State.
2. This petition has been filed for modification of order dated 13.12.2923, passed in Cr.Misc. No.34435/2023 by this Court by which this Court directed the petitioner to pay interim maintenance of Rs.3000/- per month to opposite party no.2.
3. In view of reason assigned in the modification petition, further eight weeks time from today is granted to the petitioner to surrender and furnish bail-bond before the concerned Court where the case is pending, provided the petitioner pays half of the arrears of maintenance amounting to
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.35202 of 2026(3) dt.10-07-2026 2/2 Rs.43,500/- to opposite party no.2 at the time of filing of bail bonds and rest half part of maintenance amount of Rs. 43,500/- within two months thereafter. Petitioner shall further deposit Rs. 5,000/- (Rupees five thousand) in the office of concerned District Legal Services Authority and to furnish its receipt with the bail-bond. This amount may be utilized by the Civil court concerned in purchase of furniture and beautification of the court premises. Needless to state that petitioner shall pay the interim maintenance amount indicated in order dated 13.12.2023 to opposite party no.2.
4. Accordingly, said order is modified to the extent indicated above.
