1. The petitioner by way of this writ petition has prayed for declaration of result of the Bachelor of Vocational Courses under the Skill Development Course. Further, it is being prayed to direct the University authorities and Chancellor Secretariat to regulate the course as per the academic session within time, so that the career of the students may not be hampered. The petitioners were admitted in the vocational course in the year 2018, after having been approved by the various authorities including the University. The examination

Patna High Court CWJC No.8582 of 2022(4) dt.14-09-2022 2/2 has also been conducted but on account of the delay in approval of the draft regulations by the Chancellor, the result of the examination has not been declared by the University. It is informed that the Governor has now taken the decision with respect to approval of the Draft Admission Ordinance and Regulation of different courses for vocational course on 12.08.2022.

Keeping in view above, the writ petition is disposed of with direction to the University to now take steps and release the result of the students, who have appeared in the B. Voc. 1st Part examination and also lay down a calendar for schedule of study and examinations to be conducted in future, so that the future of the students be not kept in dark.

It is made clear that after the requisite period of study, the University shall endeavour to take examination as soon as possible and in terms of the University's Act, the result shall be declared within the stipulated period.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.
