Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under section 379 and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code. The victim made a statement that while she had gone along with her brother to irrigate the land the petitioner put her down and made attempt to commit rape upon her. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is a case and counter case . From the side of petitioner Saur Bazar P.S. Case No. 19 of 2014 was registered. There is land dispute between the parties and on account of such dispute this case has been lodged. Petitioner is in jail since 11.05.2014.
