ABHISHEK REDDY ORAL ORDER 07-08-2025 Without going into the merits or demerits of the case, the present writ petition is disposed of at the stage of admission with the consent of both the parties.

2. Having regard to the fact that the petitioner has already filed his objections to the notice dated 11.06.2018 (Page 88 of the writ petition) issued under Section 7 of the Public Demand Recovery Act, the present writ petition is disposed of

Patna High Court CWJC No.8879 of 2025(2) dt.07-08-2025 2/2 directing the Certificate Officer (Respondent No. 7) to consider the objections filed by the petitioner and pass a reasoned order under Section 10 of the Public Demand Recovery Act duly taking into consideration the objections filed by the petitioner. The entire exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of 8 weeks from the date of the receipt of the copy of this order.

2. It is needless to mention that before passing any order the petitioner shall be given an opportunity of hearing. Any order passed shall be communicated to the petitioner.

3. Till such time the final orders are passed, the authority is directed not to take any coercive steps against the petitioner.

4. It is made clear that in case the petitioner does not cooperate for final disposal of the case, the authority is free to pass necessary orders strictly in accordance with law.

5. With the above directions, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
