2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Gaighat P.S. Case No. 181 of 2020, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 302 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner, along with the other co-accused persons, is alleged to have committed the murder of the informant's son, Dharamveer Kumar.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has no criminal antecedents. The petitioner is in custody since 03.01.2026. It is further submitted that, during the course of investigation, it has transpired that the deceased, Dharamveer Kumar, had committed suicide. It is further submitted that the room was found locked from inside,

5. Learned APP appearing for the State opposes the prayer for grant of regular bail.
6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the materials available on record and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, this application is allowed.
7. Accordingly, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of the learned Court below where the case is pending/Successor Court in connection with Gaighat P.S. Case No. 181 of 2020.
8. It is made clear that any observation made herein is prima facie in nature and limited solely for the purpose of adjudication of the present bail application. Such observations shall not be construed as an expression on the merits of the case and shall not influence the trial or any other proceedings in any manner.
