This application for anticipatory bail arises out of Barahiya P.S. Case No. 120 of 2018, disclosing offences under Sections 366(A) and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 8 of the POCSO Act.

The allegation is against the accused Ankit Verma, who is said to have eloped with the informant's daughter, as per the first information report. The petitioner has been described as friend of the accused Ankit Verma, who is allegedly also involved in assisting the commission of offence. There is no specific allegation in the first information report. Considering the above submission, this application is allowed. Let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his

No.73783 of 2018(2) dt.21-12-2018 2/2 arrest/surrender within six weeks from today in the Court below, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousand), with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Lakhisarai in Barahiya P.S. Case No. 120 of 2018, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

This is subject to the condition that the petitioner shall present himself before Police/Court, as the case may be, as and when required and in the event of failure on his part to appear before the Court on two consecutive occasions, his bail bonds shall be liable to be cancelled.
