Smt. Suman Kumari Singh, APP ========================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 03.

27.08.2020.

Heard Mr. Sanjeev Mishra, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.

This is an application seeking quashing of the F.I.R of (Nawada) Roh P.S. Case No. 79 of 2014 instituted for the offence under Sections 341, 323, 324, 307 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has been candid enough in letting the court know that he is not aware of the current status of the case.

However, from the order dated 28.03.2018, it appears that a compromise has been effected between the parties. Two and half years have passed by after the aforesaid disclosure of factum of settlement between the parties. The investigation in this case must have been concluded by now. If at all the same has not been concluded, this Court directs that it must be concluded within a period of three months from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order. The petitioner would be at liberty to approach the Investigating Officer and let him know that there has been a settlement of dispute between the parties and that the offence is not against the society in general but is inter personal.

This application stands disposed of accordingly. (Ashutosh Kumar, J) Sunil/- U T
