====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 20-01-2021 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Civil Lines P.S. Case No. 458 of 2019, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 341, 504, 506, 353, 379, 307, 332, 333 of the Indian Penal Code. Prosecution case in brief is that while the informant (police official) along with others were on duty, 05 named including this petitioner and 10 to 15 unknown persons are alleged to have brutally assaulted one of the police officials, with lathi, danda and iron rod, as a result of which he became severely injured. Accused persons also snatched purse of informant containing Rs. 3,200/- and other relevant papers. After seeing the police van, all of them fled away.

This petitioner has been named in this case without disclosing the source of identification. Petitioner has got clean antecedent, as stated in para 3 of the petition. Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner abovenamed, in the event of his arrest/surrender before the court below within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gaya in connection with Civil Lines P.S. Case No. 458 of 2019, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
