The petitioner seeks bail in Khizersarai P.S. Case No.257 of 2018 registered under Sections 461 and 380 of the Indian Penal Code.

The informant lodged the case against unknown for theft in his house. In theft, many articles, ornaments and mobiles were stolen away.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. The name of the petitioner surfaced in the case in the confessional statement of Ashok Paswan. Save and except the confession, there is no other material to show the involvement of the petitioner. No stolen article was recovered from the possession of the petitioner.
