HONOURABLE MR JUSTICE RAJIV ROY ORAL ORDER 18-09-2023 Heard Mr Ibrahim Kabir, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr Anil Kumar, learned AC to SC VIII. Prayer is for the following reliefs:

"That this is an application for issuance of an appropriate writ, order or direction commanding the respondents to grant salary of the petitioner of January, 2016 to March, 2016 and for a direction to the S P, Jamui to immediately release the salary of the petitioner which has been wrongly held currently and grant salary from the day it has been withheld till date as the petitioner and his family are starving and also petitioner needs money for treatment and grant the petitioner promotion on the post of ASI

Patna High Court CWJC No.2795 of 2018(4) dt.18-09-2023 2/2 and also SI as persons junior to him have been granted the said promotions but he has not bee granted even though there was no departmental proceeding pending against the petitioner at the date the said promotions became due and there is no other impediment and also grant consequential benefits or for any other order or orders which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper under the circumstances of this case."

After some argument, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be given liberty to withdraw this writ petition.

Permission is granted.

This writ petition stands disposed with the aforesaid liberty.
