The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence under Section 364(A), 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

F.I.R. is against unknown for kidnapping the brother of informant and demanding Rs. 5,50,000/-, as ransom. It is submitted on behalf of petitioner that name of the petitioner surfaced during course of investigation in the confessional statement of co-accused. In statement, recorded under Section 164 Cr.P.C., the victim has not named this petitioner. Petitioner has got clean antecedent. Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail.
