The Bail Petition No. 554 of 2014 filed before the 2nd Additional Sessions Judge, Motihari, East Champaran was rejected on 20th August, 2014. Hence this application.
Heard Mr. Madhurendra Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Aditya Narain Singh, learned APP. It is no doubt true that the allegation against the petitioner is a bit serious. The fact however remains that no specific act is attributed to him and that investigation has already been completed. The petitioner is in jail for the past about one year.

No.37763 of 2014 (2) dt.14-01-2015 2/2 Hence this application is allowed and the petitioner, namely, Ashok Rai is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Shri R K Bharti, Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Motihari at East Champaran, in connection with Mehshi PS Case No. 28 of 2014.
