Petitioner seeks bail in Birpur P.S. Case No.23 of 2020 registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

The police raided a field from where 78.75 litres of liquor was recovered. The petitioner managed to flee away from the place.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is no material to show that the petitioner kept liquor in the field. The petitioner has no manner of concern with the recovered liquor. The petitioner is in jail since 07.08.2020. The petitioner has already remained in jail for about four months. Taking into consideration the facts aforesaid, the petitioner named above is directed to be released on bail on
