BAJANTHRI) 12-10-2023 Prima facie, relief of the petitioner read with the certain proceedings would take its own time having regard to the stage of the matter, we are of the view that respondents are entitled to three month's time to complete the process.

2. The State counsel is hereby directed to inform the concerned officials to complete the pending proceedings within a period of three months.

3. Accordingly, the proceeding of present MJCcontempt petition stands dropped reserving liberty to the petitioner to file interlocutory application for revival of this order in the event of non-compliance of the orders of this Court

Learned counsel for the State submitted that having regard to the issue involved in the present petition it is a lengthy process and it cannot be implemented within the stipulated time by this Court. In such an event, the concerned respondents had remedy of filing review petition or filing interlocutory application seeking extension of sufficient time, the same are not forthcoming. This may also be taken note of by the concerned authority.
