2. The present petition has been preferred for the following relief(s):

"to issue a writ in the nature of CERTIORARI / MANDAMUS or any other appropriate writ or order or direction to respondent authorities implement the policy of to Railways Department issued vide letter bearing No. ECR/CAO/W/Land Employment/143/277 dated 9/18.1.2007 [Ann-3] whereby and where under it has been resolved that one person of the family shall be

Further prayer, is for direction to Railways Authorities respondent no. 1 to 4 to provide employment / appointment / service under Railways Department to the ward of Petitioners, who are displaced Awardees of Ganga Rail Bridge Project Patna. Further prayer for direction to Collector cum District Magistrate Patna, to forward the applications of petitioner for providing employment / appointment /service to respondents' no. 1 to 4."

3. At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to approach the respondent no. 2, the Divisional Railway Manager, East Central Railways, Hajipur for the redressal of the grievance.
