The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under Section 7 of the Essential Commodities Act.

The prosecution case in brief is that, in course of raid, 17 quintals of rice, 7.5 quintals of wheat and 360 bags printed as Food Corporation of India were found loaded on a tractor without number.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. There is no allegation of tampering of witnesses alleged against the petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since 25-03-2019. The petitioner has been made accused in the present case due to mistake of fact. The father of the petitioner is a PDS dealer. He has got no

On behalf of the State, it is submitted that the petitioner is named in the Complaint Case/F.I.R.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Hilsa, Nalanda in connection with Islampur P.S. Case No. 112 of 2019.
