Petitioner seeks bail in GO Case No.228 of 2019 arising out of University (LNMU) P.S. Case No.68 of 2019 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 272, 273/34 Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
Allegation against petitioner is that police chased him on suspicion of having bag in his hand upon which he entered into the house. The police personnel searched the house of the petitioner and total 59.80 litres foreign liquor has been recovered from house of the petitioner.
Counsel for the petitioner submits that Petitioner is in
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.30170 of 2019(2) dt.08-05-2019 2/2 custody since 12.03.2019 having clean antecedents. In the facts and circumstances of the case, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional District Judge V cum Special Judge, Excise Act, Darbhanga, in connection with GO Case No.228 of 2019 arising out of University (LNMU) P.S.
