The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Vidyapati Nagar P.S. Case No.98 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 30(a), 30(b), 30(c) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Amendment Act, 2016.
Prosecution case as per the written report is that on 08.09.2018, the informant being A.S-I, Mukteshwar Ray was on patrolling duty and on a secret information, raid was laid and 5 litres illicit liquor and 2 litres of countrymade liquor were recovered from the house of the petitioner.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.71565 of 2018(3) dt.15-01-2019 2/2 petitioner lives in joint family house with other family members. Considering the nature of accusation made against the petitioner, the petitioner, above named, be released on anticipatory bail in the event of his arrest or surrender before the Court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of this order, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge-III-cum-Special Judge, Excise, Samastipur in connection with Vidyapati Nagar P.S. Case No.98 of 2018.
