The petitioner seeks bail in Government Official Complaint Report/Excise Case No. 352 of 2018, instituted for the offence under Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

It is alleged in the written report that 2592 liters of foreign liquor has been recovered from truck bearing registration No. HR21F-0347. Petitioner is said to be driver of the aforesaid truck.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody since 6.12.2018.

Keeping in view the recovery of huge quantity of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.30570 of 2019(2) dt.08-05-2019 2/2 foreign liquor from truck, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

Prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail stands rejected.
