Petitioner seeks bail in Kopa P.S. Case No.40 of 2019 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
It is alleged that 100 litres illicit liquor has been recovered from the Tempo on which petitioner along with Niraj Kumar was found sitting.
Counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no concern with the aforesaid liquor.
Petitioner is in custody since 19.03.2019 having clean antecedents.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, prayer of
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.30158 of 2019(2) dt.08-05-2019 2/2 the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the 9th Additional Sessions Judge cum Special Judge, Excise Act, Saran at Chapra, in connection with Kopa P.S. Case No.40 of 2019, subject to the condition that both the bailors shall be close relative of the petitioner.
