JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 15-12-2020 Heard Mr. Sandip Kumar Gautam, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Begusarai Town P.S. Case No. 196 of 2020 dated 15.03.2020 instituted for the offences under Sections 399 and 402 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 25(1-b), A, 26 and 35 of the Arms Act.

On secret information that some miscreants have assembled at the house of one Amit Kumar to commit some crime, a raid was conducted, in which the petitioner and others were arrested. From the possession of other arrested

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.33471 of 2020(2) dt.15-12-2020 2/2 accused persons, fire arm weapons were recovered. From the possession of the petitioner, only cartridges have been recovered.

The petitioner was earlier made accused in a case of Excise Act in which he is on bail.

In the present case, the petitioner is in custody since 15.03.2020.

Regard being had to the period of custody and the nature of accusation against the petitioner, he is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Beguarai in connection with Begusarai Town P.S. Case No. 196 of 2020.
