The petitioner is aggrieved by the order of cancellation of his PDS license against which he has not preferred the appeal which has been provided under the Bihar Targeted Public Distribution System (Control) Order, 2016. For this reason alone, we are not inclined to entertain this petition.

We direct that in the event of the petitioner preferring

Patna High Court CWJC No.8731 of 2022(2) dt.02-11-2022 2/2 an appeal before the concerned authority within a period of 30 days, that shall be looked into by the appellate authority and after providing reasonable opportunity to the petitioner to present his cause, a reasoned order shall be passed within a period of 60 days, to be counted from the date of presentation of the memo of appeal.

The order so passed shall be made available to the petitioner forthwith.
