2. The accused/petitioners are named in the FIR and apprehending their arrest in connection with Khusrupur P.S. Case No.500 of 2025 registered under Sections 103(1) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (in short 'BNS').
3. As per the prosecution case, the sister of the informant married with the brother of petitioner no. 2 ten years back. It is alleged that on 15.12.2025, it was informed to the informant by brother of petitioner no.2 that his sister
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.32530 of 2026(3) dt.20-07-2026 2/3 has been quarreling with him and subsequently told him that she has committed suicide by hanging herself.
4. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that the petitioner no. 1 is a wife of petitioner no. 2, who is the brother of the husband of the deceased. It is submitted that they are in-laws and were implicated with the present crime in question only for the reason that they are the relatives of the husband of the deceased. It is further argued that these petitioners were living separately with the deceased and her husband since 25.04.2024. In support of his submission, learned counsel pointed out the partition agreement which is annexed as Annexure- P/2 of the present bail petition. It is submitted that petitioners have no connection with daily and domestic affairs of the deceased and her husband. Both petitioners claimed clean antecedent.
5. Learned APP duly opposed the prayer of bail.
6. Ms. Bela Singh ,learned counsel for the informant while opposing the prayer of bail submitted that these petitioners were also involved actively in alleged occurrence, however, it is concluded that the husband of
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.32530 of 2026(3) dt.20-07-2026 3/3 deceased was granted bail by one of the learned co-ordinate Bench of this Court and also could not disputed the partition agreement, (Annexure- P/2) as referred aforesaid.

In view of aforesaid factual submissions and by taking note of fact as both petitioners, who are in-laws are living separately much prior to the occurrence in terms of Annexure- P-2, which is a partition agreement, accordingly, both petitioners, above-named, are directed to be released on bail, in the event of their arrest or surrender in the court below within a period of four weeks, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned J.M. - 1st Class Patna City, in connection with Khusrupur P.S. Case No.500 of 2025, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the BNSS. (Chandra Shekhar Jha, J.) Aniket/- U T
