The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Special Case No.1920 of 2019 (arising out of Khajekala P.S.Case No.102 of 2019) registered for offences punishable under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016 .

Allegation against the petitioner is about recovery of 159 ltrs. of liquor from the E-rickshaw of the petitioner. Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that as a matter of fact he was called for carrying articles and he has been arrested. He had no knowledge of the illicit liquor and he is in custody for more than two months. Charge sheet has already been submitted and he has no criminal antecedent.

Having heard both sides and in view of the facts and circumstances, as stated above, let the petitioner, above named, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, Excise, Patna District Patna in connection with Special Case No.1920 of 2019 (arising out of Khajekala P.S.Case No.102 of 2019). With the aforesaid observation, this application is allowed.
