The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Kaler P.S. Case No. 37 of 2021, Excise Case No. 460 of 2021 instituted for the offences under Section 30(a) of the Excise Act. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 11.06.2021, is a person with clean antecedent and charge-sheet has been submitted in the case. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that allegation is of recovery of 3268.8 litres of liquor from a truck and the petitioner is alleged to be the driver of the truck. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case and

Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner.

Considering the fact that the petitioner is in custody since 11.06.2021, charge-sheet has been submitted in the case and the petitioner is a person with clean antecedent, let the petitioner above named be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge (Excise) Jehanabad in connection with Kaler P.S. Case No. 37 of 2021, Excise Case No. 460 of 2021.
