JUSTICE MADHURESH PRASAD ORAL ORDER 07-08-2019 The claim in the writ petition is for regularisation of services of the petitioner having regard to the work rendered by him in Badahara Block as a Amin pursuant to his ad-hoc engagement to perform the duties on account of superannuation of the incumbent/regular Amin on 31.5.2013.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that the process for contractual engagement was conducted and merit list published on 5.12.2012. It is his submission that the authorities be directed to conclude the said process.

The prayer of the petitioner to that extent is not being allowed by this Court having regard to the subsequent event of his having joined on ad-hoc basis on 5.6.2013. The claim for regularisation on account of such work rendered as ad hoc employee is not maintainable as the petitioner has discharged functions as an ad hoc employee, that also for a short period of six-eight months.

Patna High Court CWJC No.8468 of 2015(2) dt.07-08-2019 2/2 In respect of the dues outstanding for ad hoc services, if the petitioner approaches Circle Officer, Badahara in respect of his dues the same would be examined by the Circle Officer having regard to the records and actual duty discharged by the petitioner. Dues if found admissible thereafter be paid by the Circle Officer. Petitioner should approach the Circle Officer within four weeks. It is directed that Circle Officer should process the claim as per admissibility within eight weeks thereafter.

Writ petition stands disposed of.
