2. The present writ petition has been filed for the following relief(s):- "i. An appropriate writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondent no. 3 to change the name of the petitioner in the Vehicle Registration Certificate of the vehicles as described paragraph no. 4 of this petition.

ii. An appropriate writ in the nature of Mandamus to restrain the respondent authorities for taking any coercive steps against the vehicle in question as change of name of the petitioner in the Vehicle Registration Certificate is pending before the respondent no. 3.

3. Without going into the merits or demerits of the case, the present writ petition is disposed of at the stage of admission with the consent of both the counsels.

4. Having regard to the fact that petitioner has already made his applications for registration of the vehicles in her name and the respondent No. 3 herein (i.e. District Transport Officer, Purnia) is sitting tight over the same, the respondent No. 3 herein is directed to register the vehicles bearing Registration Nos. NL01Q4842, NL01Q4848, NL01Q4849, NL01Q4854, NL01Q4855, NL01Q1812, NL01N0595, NL01N0596, NL01N0597, BR11GE2969, BR11GE3219, NL01L4726, NL01L4361, NL01L4362, NL01L4363, NL01L4364, BR11GE2967, NL01K8548, NL01K8556 and NL01K8076 in the name of the petitioner in case the applications made by the petitioner along with necessary documents are found to be correct. The authority shall do the needful within a period of ten days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
