1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. That the Petitioner in the instant writ application prays for quashing of the Letter No. 25 dated 14.02.2012 issued by Respondent No. 4 by which the Respondent Authority rejected the claim of the regularization of the services of the Petitioner and the Petitioner further prays for a direction to the Respondent authority to regularize the services of the Petitioner in the light of the notification issued by the General Administration, Government of Bihar, Patna as the Petitioner had worked for more than 12 years as daily wages employee in the office of the

Patna High Court CWJC No.16736 of 2015(2) dt.14-09-2023 2/2 Executive Engineer, West Kosi Canal Division, Andhrathari after appointed by the competent authority on the vacant sanctioned post of the Water Resource Department and the Petitioner has fulfilled criteria laid down by the General Administration department Government of Bihar for the regularization of the daily wages employee in the different notifications and the Petitioner further prays for a direction to the Respondent Authority to pay the arrear of the salary to the Petitioner which had not been paid for about 9 years as the office of the Executive Engineer, West Kosi Canal Division, Andhrathari had taken work from him."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, for redressal of the aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.
