The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Hajipur (Sadar) P.S. Case No. 368 of 2017, registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

419 litres of foreign liquor has been recovered from Bolero vehicle and this petitioner is owner of the said vehicle. It is submitted that nothing has been recovered from conscious possession of this petitioner. Name of this petitioner has come in this case simply because he is owner of the vehicle in question. The illicit liquor was being transported from the said vehicle without the knowledge of this petitioner. Petitioner has got no concern with the seized liquor. Petitioner has got

Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner abovenamed in the event of his arrest/surrender before the court below within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned 2nd Additional Sessions Judge-cumSpecial Judge, Excise Act, Vaishali at Hajipur in connection with Hajipur (Sadar) P.S. Case No. 368 of 2017, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
