2. With the consent of the parties, this writ application is being disposed of at this stage itself.

In the present writ application, the petitioner has prayed for the grant of the following relief:- "For issuance of an appropriate writ/writs, order/ orders, direction/ directions to respondent authorities for permission to put signature upon Attendance Register, execute the works attached to post and pay salary against the work executed, which remains unpaid/ withhold maliciously, arbitrarily and

Patna High Court CWJC No.7884 of 2026(2) dt.24-06-2026 2/3 unreasonably despite the several representations preferred for seeking reliefs aforementioned in terms of law settled by the Division Bench of this Hon'ble Court on 20.06.2016 in L.P.A No. 531 of 2015 in case of Ritu Kumari v/s The State of Bihar & Ors. and for other necessary relief/ reliefs on the basis of facts and circumstances of the case"

For seeking the aforesaid relief, the petitioner has already filed a representation dated 25.03.2024 (AnnexureP/3) before the District Education Officer, Gopalganj, and as per the petitioner the said representation still continues to be pending. He, therefore, prays that an appropriate direction be issued to the District Education Officer, Gopalganj, (respondent no.3) to dispose of the pending representation of the petitioner within a fixed time-frame, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.

5. To the aforesaid submission made by learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel appearing for the respondent-State does not have any objection.

6. Considering the limited nature of prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ application is disposed of, directing the District Education Officer, Gopalganj, (respondent no.3) to dispose of the pending representation of the

Patna High Court CWJC No.7884 of 2026(2) dt.24-06-2026 3/3 petitioner dated 25.03.2025 (Annexure-P-3) within three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.

7. Needless to emphasize that the final order, which shall be passed by District Education Officer, Gopalganj, (respondent no.3), should be a reasoned and speaking order. It is further made clear that if the petitioner is found entitled to the relief, which the petitioner has claimed through the pending representation, the same should be extended to the petitioner within a period of 15 days four weeks from the date of passing of the final order by District Education Officer, Gopalganj (respondent no.3)

8. With the aforesaid observation/direction, this writ application stands disposed of.
