Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 272, 273/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 30(a), 37(b)(c) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Submission is that no liquor was recovered from possession of the petitioner. Name of the petitioner surfaced in the confessional statement of co-accused Ranjit Sahni. Petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. He is in custody since 29.03.2019.

Considering the facts aforesaid, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.32281 of 2019(2) dt.15-05-2019 2/2 where the case is pending in connection with Khagaria (Gangour) Police Station Case No. 186 of 2019, with the following conditions:

(a) Both the bailors shall be the resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned court-below having immovable property.

(b) The petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner. (Birendra Kumar, J) Rajan/- U T
