1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the respondents.

2. The petitioner has filed the instant application for directing the respondents specially the Secretary, Mahatma Buddha Teachers Training College (respondent no.4) to pay the salary of the petitioner for the period from 25.8.2012 till June, 2013.

3. A counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the Secretary and the Principal of the college (respondent nos.4 and

5) after serving a copy of the same on learned counsel for the

Patna High Court CWJC No.6658 of 2015(4) dt.24-11-2023 2/2 petitioner in the year 2019. No reply/rejoinder has been filed to the said counter affidavit. It has categorically been stated in the said affidavit that the petitioner has been paid his salary from 27.8.2012 to 31.5.2017.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the contents of the above counter affidavit sworn by the Secretary of the college (respondent no.4) that salary of the petitioner for the period from 27.8.2012 to 31.5.2017 has been paid to the petitioner and the said period includes the period for which the salary has been prayed for by the petitioner in the instant writ application, this Court finds no purpose of keeping the application pending.

5. In view of the above, the application stands disposed of.
