The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Hajipur Sadar P.S. Case No. 583 of 2019 dated 03.09.2019 instituted for the offence under Sections 392/412 of the Indian Penal Code.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that from the perusal of the FIR, it would appear that a pick-up van was looted and the vehicle was traced. It was found parked in front of the house of one Shankar Rai. Shankar Rai is said to have disclosed before the police that the vehicle in question was brought and parked by his maternal grandson viz. Ajit Kumar. Aforesaid Ajit Kumar was arrested and he

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.31387 of 2020(2) dt.03-12-2020 2/2 appears to have disclosed the name of the petitioner. Apart from this, there is no other material to connect the petitioner with the offence.

The petitioner is in custody since 11.06.2020 and in another case in which he was earlier made accused, he is on bail.

Regard being had to the nature of accusation and the period of custody of the petitioner, he is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Vaishali at Hajipur in connection with Hajipur Sadar P.S. Case No. 583 of 2019.
