2. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that though earlier prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected by order dated 19-09-2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 65368 of 2024 but in the said order, it was observed that the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail after six months, which has elapsed.
3. According to the FIR, 18 litres of illicit countrymade liquor was recovered from the sack, which was thrown by the petitioner. The petitioner is under custody since 15-07-2024.
4. Learned APP has opposed the prayer for bail.
5. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances,
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.31605 of 2025(2) dt.27-06-2025 2/2 let the petitioner named above, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-VII-cum-Special Judge, Excise-II, Madhepura in connection with Excise Case No. 137 of 2021 arising out of Madhepura Excise P.S. Case No. 368 of 2020-21.
6. Before accepting the bail bonds, the criminal antecedent of the petitioner shall be verified and if, it is found that he is involved in any other case except the case(s), mentioned in paragraph-3 of the bail petition, his bail bonds shall not be accepted.
