2. This application has been filed for grant of regular bail in connection with Manigachi P.S. Case No. 42 of 2026 registered for the offence under Sections 64, 351(2), 352, 162(2), 115(2), 3(5) of the BNS and under Sections 4/6 of the POCSO Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is said to have committed rape with the minor victim.

4. The petitioner is in custody since 30.03.2026.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case.

6. Learned counsel for the informant and learned APP for the State have opposed the application of the petitioner.

7. In view of the serious allegations levelled against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
