====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE SATYAVRAT VERMA ORAL ORDER 28-11-2022 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498(A) and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3⁄4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

The informant alleges that she was married to Bambam Kumar on 10.08.2019, after marriage accused persons including the petitioner were demanding Rs. 3,51,000/-, motorcycle and utensils and threatened to not keep her if demand not made.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a person with clean antecedent and has been falsely

No.33895 of 2022(2) dt.28-11-2022 2/2 implicated in the present case being brother-in-law of the informant, it is next submitted that whenever any dispute arises between the informant and the petitioner the entire family members are implicated. Learned counsel next submits that from perusal of Annexure-2 it would manifest that even a compromise has been arrived at between the parties. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner.

Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner above-named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned trial court within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned trial court where the case is pending/successor court in connection with Raghopur P.S. Case No. 144 of 2020 subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C.
