The prayer for bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected vide order dated 17.08.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 10222 of 2020.

This Court had called for a report about the stage of the case from the court below.

Perused the report of the court below.

This Court is satisfied about the pace of the trial. There is every likelihood of the trial being concluded in near future as 9 prosecution witnesses have already been examined.

However, looking at the custody of the petitioner which is from 22.08.2019, this Court directs

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.45483 of 2021(5) dt.22-12-2021 2/2 the trial court to conclude the trial positively within a period of four months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, failing which the petitioner would have the liberty to approach this Court again.
