2. The grievance of the petitioners is that their lands were acquired by the State but still no compensation has been paid to the petitioners. It has further been submitted that some portion of the same plot was earlier acquired vide L.A. No. 03 of 1989-90 and compensation amount was received by the claimant in that regard.
3. The stand of the state is that (as per counter affidavit), the petitioner's Mother of CWJC No. 15129 of 2015 purchased the said land from the successor of Khatiyani Raiyat, Harakh Kalwar and Jamabandi Raiyat, Hira Sah whereas one Sri Vinod Kumar is also claiming the compensation amount for the same land on the basis of a gift deed from his grandmother, late Radhika Devi.
4. Be that as it may, the matter should be referred for adjudication in accordance with law.

The Collector, Gopalganj is directed to take decision within a period of two months from the date of production/communication of this order in accordance with law and if necessary, the matter be referred to the Competent Authority of having jurisdiction over the matter.
